Servant Leaders (SL): God invites you to become his partners in declaring
his Kingdom on campus. Seek God’s purposes for your fellowship and campus with
your staffworker and “exec” or “Servant Leader Team.” Enrich your understanding
of Christian leadership by studying Biblical models. Gain key skills in shaping
vision and developing strategy. Commit to plans which grow your chapter into an
effective witnessing community. (Staff approval required to register.)
Small Group Leaders (SGL): God uses his Word to change lives. God
meets people in community. And he uses students like you to help others
encounter him in small group bible studies where Word, worship, witness and
fellowship intersect. Learn to lead others to discover the riches of Scripture.
Develop the character of a shepherd-leader. Respond to God’s invitation to lead
others into a lifetime of discipleship and witness. (Staff approval
required to register.)
Encountering Jesus (EJ): Want to spend a week with Jesus? Discover who
he is in the same way the Early Church did: Watch him perform miracles. See his
authority, his love, his power. Let his teaching transform your heart and
stretch your faith. Hear his call to be his disciples and his witnesses. Come
live with Jesus through an intensive manuscript study of Mark’s Gospel.
Transforming Prayer (TP): When we pray, God changes things: people,
campuses and cultures. Through prayer, he shares his heart, infuses us with his
passions, and invites us to participate in his purposes. Transform your
understanding of prayer—and learn to lead others in prayers which will transform
your chapter. Discern God’s work on campus—and experience God at work in your
own life.
Engaging God’s World (EGW): Too often we live in a Christian bubble,
isolated from the world that God loves and the people for whom Jesus died. This
foundational track equips us to become engaged—in relationship with and
committed to—the culture around us while finding our identity in Christ as his
ambassadors.
Work Crew (WC): Can servanthood really pay? Work Crew students receive
a $200 scholarship for Basileia by working for one week with the foodservice or
groundkeeping team at Basileia. See the website for more details. Limited
numbers of students can be accepted for this program.
