About Ministry at Binghamton University
The Upstate East NY Area is longing to host and develop staff to meet the needs of our area with 31 campuses. Binghamton University is a state school with a diverse and active student body, and has a thriving InterVarsity chapter that longs to grow in love for God and share God's love with others.
Unique Opportunities
Serving at Binghamton University, an established chapter, residents will be able to witness and be involved in evangelism, small group bible studies, prayer meetings, leadership selection, and more that will equip them to serve at many different campus contexts. The resident will be supported by both a full time campus staff on site and the local Assistant Area Director for development. They will also be a part of an area team and participate in exciting area ministry initiatives.
Upstate New York is filled with exciting outdoor opportunities such as hiking, skiing, and more! Our area team loves to get together to celebrate holidays and meet every summer to pray and plan for the new year. We love serving together, but also enjoy sporting activities together, such as kayaking!
