Multigenerational Impact

Last year, Dave—a junior at TCNJ—had a life-changing encounter with God. An atheist, convinced Christianity wasn’t for him, Dave met Jesus and everything changed.

Meanwhile, Sam, a senior and student leader, was steadily growing in faith and courage the last 4 years, and recently, asked God a bold question: What would it look like to reach professors with the gospel?

Here's a fun twist —Dave is Sam’s physics professor’s son! When Dave became a Christian, his story stirred curiosity at home. Questions turned into conversations. Conversations turned into openness. And soon, Sam found himself having regular spiritual conversations with his professor—the very person he had been praying for.

Last fall, Sam invited him to read The Case for Christ. Then, during winter break, an email arrived: the professor had been reading the book, thinking deeply, and had a lot to say.

Two students. One professor. A praying senior, a newly-converted son, and a God who delights in weaving stories far bigger—and far more joyful—than anything we could plan.
