Reaching 3% of campus!

A group of 10 students gathering in the chapel basement ended up connecting with 3% of their campus at Colgate! Sophie, a campus missionary, was coaching a recently reaffiliated student group to do some outreach. They took some great risks.

They did a painting and donuts event. They had free bouquets of flowers all over campus. This group of 10 students grew to over 24 regularly gathering. Sophie also discovered that as they were meeting students, they added them to their group chat. 

Over 100 students were on their group chat - which, at a campus of 3,000, is over 3% of the university. Praise God - that means that 3% of Colgate will be invited to come and see Jesus regularly: for Bible studies, for community, and for spaces to encounter God.
