Worship Night for the Campus

Drew InterVarsity hosted their first-ever (or first in a looooooong time) worship night last night! Two years ago when Kevin, a campus missionary, met with three freshmen who would become the new leaders and asked them what they wanted to see, this was their big hairy audacious dream!

Despite how God has been working over the past two years, they were still afraid to hope that people would show up. But they were faithful, and prepared the space. They booked the most public space on campus: an open lounge right in the middle of the student center. They prayed and fasted leading up to it. They recruited a truly excellent team to lead worship. And people SHOWED UP!!! You could feel something significant was happening spiritually. Even faculty and staff stopped by to see and celebrate what was happening!

Furthermore, after the event, a local pastor who was attending the event, led a student to make a significant Lordship decision as they seek to follow Jesus! Praise God. Would you pray for continued witnessing momentum at Drew?
