Fill out the YL Health Form**now required for all attendees Regional Staff Conference (RSC) is an opportunity for our InterVarsity Staff Team to encounter Jesus in Scripture, grow in community with one another, and be empowered for mission back on campus! This years theme is: Joy in Resilience

We will be gathering December 7th-10th 2026 at Young Life Lake Champion in Glen Spey, NY.

Arrival: Please arrive by 11am on December 7th to get settled into your room ahead of lunch together.
Departures: We will end our time together on Thursday with lunch.

*Please note, you will want to enter through the gate the GPS will guide you to, not through the Water Tower Entrance.
Most of our meetings will be taking place in “Spring Glen” or the “Club Room”
All meals will take place in the “Dining Hall”
Conference costs are covered for IV staff, volunteers, and guests that are full-participants of RSC. Childcare costs are listed below.
Travel Costs for InterVarsity Staff can be expensed to the 321102 - New York and New Jersey Region Staff Conference Account. Travel Meals can be expensed to personal accounts. Please check with the NY/NJ Standard Operating Procedures and contact your supervisor with any questions.
RSC Expenses are due by December 21, 2026.

Attendance for IV staff is mandatory.
Conference costs are already included in your budget!
Volunteers
It is a gift to have you on our team! We would love to host you at Regional Staff Conference.
Your Conference Cost is covered by your area team!
Guests & Prospective Staff
Area teams are welcome to invite guests and prospective staff to join us at Regional Staff Conference!
Please reach out to your closest ministry director contact for information about costs!
Spouses & Children
Spouses and children are welcome to attend with supervisor approval. We will have childcare for all families who have registered after supervisor approval. Childcare will be provided during sessions, but not during meals or free times.
Child expenses are not eligible for reimbursement.
Children 0-2yrs old can attend for free.
Children 3-11yrs old are $164.50.
Children 12+yrs old are $329.
Prep & Pack
If you haven't already: start by Filling out the YL Health Form (IV Staff Retreat/Dec 7-10)
Please have your insurance card available when completing the form. If not applicable, you may fill out N/A in the appropriate fields.
We suggest that you prep in the following ways:
Read Acts 2, 8, 10, 16 (we will be in a portion of these passages over our time together).
Participate in December 2nd’s ROS (will be posted on Teams). If you are a volunteer that would like to participate, please reach out to your closest ministry director!
Pray and rest well! It is important for us to be fully present to the work of the Lord at RSC. We would love for you to invite your Intercessory teams to join us in prayer as well. You can send them the following message.
“This week I'm joining our NY/NJ InterVarsity staff at our Regional Staff Conference. I'm excited for what the Lord is going to do in us as a movement and for the word God has for me! This year’s theme is “Joy in Resilience.” Would you pray for us as we study scripture, pray, and learn more about how to follow Jesus on mission? Would you pray that we are open to the Lord and the word he has for us?”
Here’s what you’ll need to to pack:
Bedding and linens will be in each room.
The dress code for the conference is smart casual attire.
Please note, we will be walking outside between buildings and you'll want to have weather - appropriate attire for those transitions.
We will have a conference booklet printed for you with session materials, please also bring:
your laptop
bible
anything you love to have during manuscript study
pen
journal
board games or other activities you'd enjoy doing during free time!
