Meeting Jesus in Grief

Lisa, the campus missionary, had planned a meeting to cover logistics for the chapter with Susie, the student leader. They were going to talk about attendance, follow-up and integrating students into the chapter.

Jesus was interested in going deeper. Lisa noticed that Susie was coming in sad, which led to a time of prayer over her grief.

"I think I'm trying to find love in all of these different places" she reflected after the prayer time. Lisa's eyes grew wide.

God brought these lyrics to mind for Lisa in prayer: 

"I've searched the world for a love that could fill my heart
But nothing compares to the wonder of who You are"

Jesus was inviting Susie into a deeper experience of his unending love for her. Your prayers are being answered friends as Jesus over and over again meets with students, revealing the heart of our heavenly Father!
