Obedience --> Generosity --> Joy

"My finances are not financing" Justin told Christina, the campus missionary in Newark. He wanted to sign up for Basileia, but the money wasn't working out. 

"Let's pray!" Christina suggested, not knowing what else to do in the moment. So they prayed. Little did they know that God was answering their prayer that very moment.

On the other side of campus, Theresa was on the phone with her mom, asking for money to get signed up for Basileia. And it worked out for her. At the same time, her paycheck dropped into her account and she felt the Holy Spirit prompting her, "Give $100 to Justin!" 

Theresa didn't know what Justin's situation was. But the Holy Spirit did!

"Christina! You'll never believe what happened! I just got $100 and signed up for Basileia!" Justin beamed over the phone.

Obedience to the Spirit led to generosity, which unlocked joy. Where in your life might obedience lead to generosity, which will unlock joy for you?
