This Community Needs Community

Jaylene sat alone, tired, and a little cranky at her desk engrossed in the architecture task in front of her. She had been here for 2 hours already and had hours more of study and work ahead of her. At Rensselear Polytechnic Institute this was a common sight. Architecture student alone, working hard, with the prospect of more hard work ahead of her.

Tony and Alyssa, two sophomore architecture students, experienced this reality and their hearts broke. "This community needs community!" So they did something about it. They invited Jaylene and other friends to join them for Bible study.

And students started coming! This community now has community! In an isolated corner on campus with isolated students, the gift of Jesus centered community is emerging as a blessing and a light to the department!
