“We can fill that need.”

The connection seemed like a stretch. It was a student's pastor from another state, but Claryssa was open to talking. It turns out this pastor was an InterVarsity alumnus, who had multiple other connection points to InterVarsity. He was thrilled when he heard about the evangelistic momentum happening at Drew University!

They've seen 13 people say "yes" to following Jesus this year. A few years ago, there wasn't even 13 people involved in the community. And Jesus has been on the move!

"I know that funding can often be hard, how's that been going and what's your need for this year?"

"$10,000 is my financial need." Claryssa responded.

"Our church can cover that need!" The pastor said, with his smile coming through the phone. It was joyful for him and for Claryssa!
