Selah: Hebrew /ˈsēlə/ (noun)
There’s so much noise and clutter in our lives.
And all of it wears on our souls.
Selah is an opportunity for us to push back against the noise and clutter, to make space for what’s important. A three day retreat, Selah is designed to send students back refreshed, renewed and ready to love their campus.
Selah: Make Space.

Who is Selah For?
STUDENTS
Selah is a weekend retreat designed just for you — college students from New York and New Jersey, ages 18-24. Whether your campus already has an InterVarsity chapter or not, Selah is your space to encounter God and be equipped to reach your campus with the gospel. We're confident God will be at work in mighty ways as you gather with other college students from across the region. And if you don't currently have a chapter on your campus, no worries — you'll be connected with a campus ministry staff member during our chapter times at camp (check out our schedule!).
Students are expected to participate in all scheduled activities during the weekend.
Not sure which weekend your campus is attending? Check out this list.
If you are a college student from another region, please contact your closest staff ministry contact for next steps!
Can I invite my friends? Yes! If you know a college student who would love Selah, invite them sign up today!
WORK CREW
Not a college student? We'd love your help as a volunteer Work Crew Member. Work Crew is a team of about 30 people who play an important role in making Selah happen — helping with the practical work behind the scenes: food prep, food service, set up and clean up after meals, and other tasks that help us serve the community well. And it's not just about the work — Work Crew teams will spend time together in prayer and guided reflection along the way. It's a great opportunity to serve practically while receiving some discipleship around work.
Spots are limited, if you are interested in Work Crew please register today.
VOLUNTEERS & STAFF
Campus Staff Ministers, employed by InterVarsity New York/New Jersey, help bring Selah to life in all kinds of roles — including as teachers and leaders.
Our official campus volunteers are welcome to join us and help staff Selah too, whether through prayer ministry, worship, or other roles on our team. Just reach out to your closest staff contact to confirm your attendance.
Not an official volunteer with InterVarsity but still want to be part of it? Consider joining us as a Work Crew volunteer!
