God is softening hearts

It was a tense Bible study. Julie was cynical. Karis was angry. They asked questions that felt more like attacks than curious inquiries. Trish, a student leader had invited her friends to come and learn about Jesus, but she wasn't ready for all this drama. Yet, Jesus was at work.

 That was last semester.

 Julie and Karis are still coming to Bible study, but it's different. Calmer. More curiosity. Attentiveness. A leaning in, not a pushing away. Their hearts are softening. They're still on a journey, and Jesus is still at work.
